I run into this regularly as an effect of the dreaded "fntcache.dat" bug. To work-around, delete the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\FNTCACHE.DAT (XP) and restart Windows. I need to do this every few days. Adobe released an Acrobat 8 update on 22 October, but I don't see this bug listed among the fix

Dear Nihar, I have not run into this specific problem, but have a suggestion. Try saving the document to 8.0 MIF. Then reopen the MIF and save it as a binary FM8 file. Try "save as PDF" with your new binary 8.0 file. With past releases of FrameMaker I have found that saving to MIF then saving
