Stephen you're a genius! I was l always working with the Designer dial boxes
open (definitely more professional that way... - like having side panels
open in Vis Studio, and HTML editors etc.), so I closed them, and la voila!
that did the trick!

FM8 seems to be sluggish on my PC. I mean trivial cursor tasks like jumping
the cursor from one word to another or selecting text. My PC is a 2.8 GHz
Pentium IV (full architecture) and it is really fast and great for
everything else.
FM7.2 is much more snappy on my PC.

Think about this again from a different direction.
My headings are following obviously by text. I fixed the text style so that if
there is a small amount of text following a heading, it will force the heading
to be at the top of anew page.
The text after the headings is called BodyAfterHeading, t

a Frame document.

Then you can have a new paragraph.
However, if it much better if you make a "place holder" for the tables.
The table should have its own tag and not be attached to the previous paragraph.

The designer boxes may have caused the problem, but you're going to run into
more problems with only 1G of RAM. That's a very minimal amount... 2G or
more is recommended if you work with long documents or want to have another
RAM-hungry application running at the same time (like photoshop).

it. They are some of their "Toolbox" plugins. It looks like the first one
works on one graphic at a time. The latter plugin can process all at once.:

How can I split a table in the middle?
I have a table followed immediately by a heading. How do I add a new text
paragraph between the table and the heading?

If anyone needed to add a couple of lines somewhere in the document
before this table, resulting in moving the table (a small one I
suppose) to the next page, or had to delete some contents resulting in
the opposite direction of move, would you still want this page brake
where you put it originally

Because the text in a text inset is in the document, it's indexed, TOCed,
and otherwise treated as typed text.

be tracked?

But note that they will only split on row boundaries; they will
*never* break in the middle of a row. And also note that if
you create any cells that straddle multiple rows,
