How can I display Para Formats list

Hi, guys...I'm doing some reformat-intensive work and I find myself pressing F9 over and over to display and apply paragraph formats. When I select the format, the list goes away. Is there a way of detaching the list and have it stay open? Thanks John X Posada AML Syst & Ops Supt Dat
