I got a dual 1.25 GHz processor and heat sink for my G4 MDD dual
1.GHz Power Mac. I'm ready to install it but I have a thermal paste
that's white. I would like to know if that's OK to use?. The machine
is pretty maxed out on all the trinkets.

I have a PM G5 Dual 2.7. The front panel Firewire port seems to have quit. A
non powered device when plugged to it shows power but never appears on the desk
top nor do powered units. Is this the end of my logic board or something I can

I have 3 Imac G3s one 700MHz and two 600MHz. One of the iMac 600s is very slow
compared to the other two. All machines have the same systems via CCC. The
profiler specs are the same between the two 600s. I'm kinda stumped as to what

I've got 9 machines that have OS 10.4.11 and OS 9.2.2. It's handy for me
because I use both systems and CCCs are a snap. But there's no reason you can't
have them separate if you want it that way.

Then I would run DiskWarrior on the Deskstar before I boot it. After It's up
ad the rest of the drives you want, up to 4 internally.
BTW DiskWarrior should fix the Seagate also.

I use a MBP as a printer/fax machine. The machine is on the Gigabit router and
all the other machines can access the printers.
also the router is wireless so no need for cables. The OS is 10.6.2 but 10.4.11
is OK too.
