Hi Nicol
You have to remember though, that there's a difference between main
stream games for the pc and play station, and other platforms such as
the one you mentioned.
If you look at a popular main stream game such as Flight Simulator, you
will notice that it is actually much more expensive

Yep. The only time you'll pay that much for an accessible game is when you

Here's my opinion.
I'd play the game whether it was a side-scroller or a 3d game. But, I really
do like the sice-scroller feel of the game as it is. Just my thoughts.
Also, I really like that idea of having two modes for the game, so you could
have the option of save and restore.

I've never heard of this cartridge thing. However, mainstream games that are

as much or more than accessible games. I know that my brother has bought

Everyone has brought up many good points. Here's my thoughts.
Keep it as a side scroller 2-d version. But at the same token keep in mind

involved to make it so.
Another option for the save feature is :

Hi Richard,
Another old time save method is the classic level code. After each level,
the character gets a code of letters and numbers that can be inputted into
the game, usually on a password option. With the proper code in, the player
jumps to the level for that code.
Otherwise, I think the

Not meant to, but I can see where you're coming from. The exclamation

I vote 3d--but the only problems with 3d games like Shades of Doom I have is
all the navigation--having to remember what's where and such. If you make

I think the sounds should be as 3d as possible--even if it is a
