Yes indeed. winfrotz tts is based on a version of winfrotz from 2002, so it's no wonder it has problems on modern machines. While sapi support in winfrotz isn't quite there, there is no peech interupt for instance, it's certainly usable and absolutely uptodate, indeed I've been thinking of
