Hello Bryan,
No, there isn't anything you can do about that error other than report
it to Jason to be fixed. BTW, for technicalities sake the word is null
not nil. There is a big difference to a programmer.

Hi, well I'm not actually new because I was on the list about 98 or so. I am
thinking it was this one any way.
My name is Yvonne; I live in Tennessee. I use to play on a mud a long time

Hi, I am interested in Sryth.
Do I need to do anything to jaws settings to help play better or is it
already accessible?
Can I use my Pacmate? I have a QX400.
Thanks lots.

Hi,
Welcome back to the list. If you haven't been on since 98 or so I'd say
you have lots of catching up to do. There has been several new games
that have come out over that time. Grin.

Hi,
Yes, Sryth is accessible. It is a web based RPG game and all you need is
a screen reader and a web browser of your choice. For example, I play
Sryth using Window Eyes 7 and with Mizilla Firefox 3.04, and it works
fine. There are plenty of Jaws users that play using jaws and with

Hi Yvonne.
Welcome to the list.
i'm a huge fan of text adventure games and gamebooks as well, --- and am
also a big Sryth player (I saw your previous message, but I use Hal so am
not certain).
Please see the gamebooks and interactive fiction catagories on
audiogames.net for details,
Screen readers already seem to work well with Sryth. I wouldn't know about
the Pacmate since I stear lear of FS products.

Hello everyone,
Some years ago, I had a copy of Michael Feir's Sparkle on my computer, but
because of time and upgrading, I can't seem to find it anymore. Likewise, a
Google search and a trip through audiogames.net have yielded no results. I
am wondering if anyone has this particular game still,
what this game about??

I've not heard of this game at all.
If someone does have it, maybe one of the people who hosts such things would
be kind enough to stick it up somewhere for everyone to download.
I can also then create an entry for it on audiogames.net.

It wasn't exactly a playable computer game from my understanding, but rather
the instructions to a rather complex board game. As I recall it was mostly
just a word document that told you what you'd need, how to set it up and how
to play. But perhaps I'm thinking of something else.
Hi. I got the problem fixed. I just switched synthesizers. I was using
espeak, but now I'm using one of the scansoft voices now.
I like a lot of the sounds in there.
I almost finnished the first quest, but I got lost in the dungins.
It's a fan game.

I'm writing all this in one e-mail so I don't end up sending two or three.
First, how can you play Super Deekout with Vista? I keep getting a message
about needing DirectX 8 or higher and I have 10. I tried setting the
compatability mode and running it as admin, but nothing. Any ideas?
Hmm, SuperDeekout works fine here.
