I've been trying out westfront, and while it's an intreaguing game, I'm finding
a couple of things mildly frustrating.
Firstly, is the way you can just get randomly teleported around by using
objects or spells and not know where you were or how to get back.
Second, is the total lack of

not read one single menu. It'll all be in the game itself, and JAWS will
have to probably be unloaded like most screenreader game situations.

It is extremely doubtful Jaws will read anything on the screen in the
game. That is essentially because what is displayed on screen isn't
normal text that most Windows applications use, isn't handled via a
standard window API, and is drawn directly to the screen through DirectX

Well, it really depends on the game. Most mainstream PC games have
keyboard support as well as the mouse and some type of joystick
controller support as well. Some more complex main stream games uses a
combonation of mouse and keyboard together to perform certain actions
and moves

Did you try using Vista drivers? From what I understand from reading
Windows 7 drivers are basically going to be the same as Windows Vista
since Windows 7 is pretty much an enhanced and fixed Windows Vista. When
I put Win 7 on my laptop I installed the vista drivers and they worked
as I said previously, this isn't a game played with a screen reader.
It's a fighting game.

There aren't any vista drivers from asus for my netbook. I guess Asus figured
who would want to bother using vista on a netbook, so there are no drivers
except for windows xp and linux as far as I can tell.
