It seems that Microsoft has the following aproach to security. Security
is annoying, so lets give the users something that is partially secure
and annoys them so much that they don't forget that microsoft is looking
out for them.

Hi Tom.
One thing I have noticed about alsorts of information technology issues, is
that they fall into what the philosopher and logician Witkenstein called A

This is a situation where so many unfamiliar and specific terms are used,
only those in the know, those in the game so
I've personally never had issues with avg myself.

Hi,
As it turns out, it didn't go to spam. It looks like I never received it.
Che helped me out, and said that sometimes the Email never arrives at all,
and he intends to revamp that piece of the system.
By the way, getting my passwords did work; the Email came to my Inbox. But
because I'd
Well glad Che was able to fix it and it worked out okay.

Hi Dark,
Last message on this topic, but you are right about terminology. Its
often times not that the technology or in this case operating system
is so different from what you already know, many concepts cross over,
but if you don't have a decent understanding of the terminology being
used its
Hi.
I like the current voice, and I like his speech rate. I find it very
much less difficult to understand than Akapella Heather was. What might
end up happening is there will be multiple different english soundpacks
created by you or gamers to give the game a different voice. You plan to
try
Hi Jim,
In deed. None of the U.S. English voices come close to speaking
Klingon. However, If I switch Eloquence to German and type them in it
does a passible job of speaking them. I would imagine that is because
the Klingon language has a Germanic style of speech. Especially, with
the way the
Hi,
Well, bee that as it may the majority of people are in favor of
Acapela Heather so that will be the default voice for MOTA beta 21 and
of course v1.0. I'm finalizing the speech as we speak and if people
want to contrib voice packs ok, but Heather will be the officially
supported voice for the
Hi.
You might already have made a decision on this. I'm hoping you did, or
will go, for an Ivona voice, after hearing Tom voiceover for Mota, I
discovered I liked it a lot better. I'm just hoping one of the ivona
voices will be a little less choppy since I find it ironic that folks
think Tom
Hi,
Sorry, but you must way behind on e-mail, but the decision was made
several days back just to switch back to Acapela Heather for the 1.0
release. While I agree the Ivona voices would sound better most people
were in favor of Heather so that seemed to be the best decision from a
business point
Hi Thomas,
I most likely will not be switching to linux mostly for all of the reasons that
you and Dark have been discussing. But I was just curious, does linux have a
Basic programming language? You know something similar to VB6. You know with
a screen reader friendly Basic IDE and SDKs
Do we get some real heather with the game, too? (grin)

Hi charles,
I'm afraid not. Although, the Heather voice sounds pretty good to me.
Whoever the original woman was ho's voice they used as the basis of
the Heather voice sounds pretty sexy.

Hi Jim,
I'm afraid not. The Basic programming languages never really were that
popular with Unix and Linux developers. The closest thing to Basic on
Linux would be Python which is fairly easy to learn, and is the
closest thing to an entry level programming language for Linux. The
majority of
Hello List, I have a problem with the game alien outback. When I start the
game it says error! Runtime 6 overflo. Ok button. I purchased the alien
outback game in 2002 on CD so it is version 1.7, but there is a new version
from dracomess. ESP Pinball 1.4, monkey business 1.9.1 Dynaman 2.x, and
a 3 gb hardrive? no wonder it won't work. your out of space!
More than likely, it didn't install fully!
warmest regards,
Shane
