Hi ron, I used to play it, but i got lost somewhere around and left the game. i'm now playing miriani with monkey term and the sound pack, which is great by the way. if you decide to start a character on there, my character name is aiden gardiner, so don't hesitate to give me a shout for help if you need it. [Audyssey] ZMud
Hi everyone: My friend is a die-hard ZMud user. Before upgrading JFW, ZMud read like it was supposed to, but now that she is using version 9 of jaws, it no longer does so. It skips lines, etc. She doesn't want to switch, and she can't get that older version of jaws on her PC since the other one crashed. I thought that I'd read somewhere about a plug-in or a work around that would fix this issue, but at the time I glossed over it figuring that it didn't concern me. Does such a plug-in exist, or was I reading in my sleep? Thanks for any help on the matter. Re: [Audyssey] ZMud
I'm writing one and really haven't finished it yet. financing is my main problem. it will cost me 40 bucks to register the sdk to actually make public plugins. I'm not in any big hurry to pay that unless I know I'm getting something back from it. I hate to sound selfish, but there aren't that many people who use z mud, so it's kind of a nich market in a nich market. - Original Message - From: jaliya skye [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Wednesday, April 09, 2008 1:48 PM Subject: [Audyssey] ZMud Hi everyone: My friend is a die-hard ZMud user. Re: [Audyssey] ZMud
I'd have to think about it. right now I'm on vacation so I haven't really put much thought in to it. there's still some bugs to iron out, for instance on some muds, the plugin doesn't read correctly at all. the last thing I want to do is release a half working plugin I've thought about making the system donationware. I don't expect people to fork out even more money after buying z mud, and let's face it. it's not exactly cheap. it is a great program though, and is about the most stable thing I've used for mudding. - Original Message - From: Jeremy Gilley [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Wednesday, April 09, 2008 5:26 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] ZMud TELL ME ABOUT HOW MUCH WOULD YOU CHARGE TO COVER YOUR COSTS AND I JUST MIGHT FORKE A CHUNK OVER IF YOU CAN FOLLOW UP WITH THE CODING. - Original Message - From: Liam Erven [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Wednesday, April 09, 2008 4:39 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] ZMud I'm writing one and really haven't finished it yet. financing is my main problem. it will cost me 40 bucks to register the sdk to actually make public plugins. Re: [Audyssey] ZMud
Hi Liam: I hear you there. I can totally understand wanting to get returns for what you put in. I'll chat with my friend tonight. She is probably the type that would certainly want to donate, especially if it means being able to use ZMud once more without difficulties. Are there any work arounds for her until that point, however? liam is there any way you could find time to work on things for mushclient. I just got it working and yeah no soundpacks for monkeyterm. because they will not work with mushclient. Holotrek will be cool, but yeah if there was a soundpack for mushclient for that that would rock. when you get time. so At 10:51 a.m. 10/04/2008, you wrote: I'd have to think about it. right now I'm on vacation so I haven't really put much thought in to it. there's still some bugs to iron out, for instance on some muds, the plugin doesn't read correctly at all. the last thing I want to do is release a half working plugin I've thought about making the system donationware. [Audyssey] ZMud Plugin problem
Hi all, Does anyone know with the JFW ZMud plugin when starting up a mud, every time i get a parse error dialog? Every time I have to go to the chars list, select my char, left click on offline, remove and install... the plugin again. This, my friends, is a waist of my time and I like my sound packs for medievia, so yeah. Also, when I use the jaws kerser to navigate, a few lines going up the screen and suddenly jaws reads stuff that happened like ... hours ago. I mean. I could be doing a combat mission in Meareomi, all of a sudden I gotta go, step away, come back, read with my jaws kerser the recent stuff that happened, but come to find out that it ... ur I don't know what it does, goes way way, way up the mud history or something and reads it? Same with medievia and other muds such as hell. I think it's any mud really. Once the history gets two crowded jaws likes to mess things up a little. Also, finally, does anyone know how to turn off local echo in ZMud? One time I tried this and unchecking it, I go back and yet jaws continue to speak my commands as I enter them. These, my friends, are the problems I'd like to fix as I intend to use ZMud as my primary client if I can get this fixt. Thanks. ___ Gamers mailing list .. [Audyssey] ZMud
Hey all, I had a question about ZMud. While playing on materia magica, my boy friend ran into another blind player. He told us that he uses ZMud and that he has scripts for it. He said that we would have to use the frames manager a bit, but with the scripts ZMud is usable. Well, he said that he would send the scripts but hasn't thus far. What I am wondering, is anyone else aware of scripts for ZMud and if so, where can I find them? I use GMud currently and it just can be a nuisance. Zmud is more functional and would make playing muds loads easier. Thanks in advanced if anyone knows anything. smiles Kellie and my loveable Lady J. Don't take life so seriously...
