Hi Sky, Smile. That's sort of the entire point of having hard to kill enemies. If you run out of ammo you need to either switch to the knife to kill them, or run like crazy to get away from them. It adds a lot more challenge to the situation. As for ducking this is also more challenging. Just because you duck doesn't necessarily mean the enemy will miss. Even if the enemy misses it will correct his/her aim and will hit you the next time it attacks. Again more challenge and replay factor here. Thomas did say he'd altered the enemy AI so that they would adjust their point of aim. That's what a real opponent would do, unless they were a total moron. Sooner or later they'd have to realize they were wasting energy. But I agree about the stamina thing, especially on the higher difficulty settings. You start out with twenty rounds of ammo in your pistol but you can easily blow eight to ten of them on a single centaur even if every round finds its mark. But by the same token he could have made things a lot harder than they are. If you are looking for fully realistic you might want to wait for Tomb Hunter II which will be based in a full FPS environment.However, that said, randomly missing the target wouldn't be too realistic to me. Hi Charles, Smile. It's suppose to be able to do that. Beta 4 just imports your scores, settings, etc from a previous release so you don't lose them. If you want to erace your high scores just go to the high scores menu option and select reset scores and your previous scores will be no more. The main purpose of a beta is not to play just for fun. The main purpose is for finding bugs and making sure the game works on a wide variety of machines. Hi Thomas, Thanks for a great beta! MOTA is much easier to play now, using the space bar to pick up items. Only once did I forget to holster my weapon and shot the gun instead of picking up the healing potion . It would be great if the healing potion would break in this case. and Angela could say, Damn I hit the potion! Of course you would have to check first for any creatures in the room. I would like to find something in the room outside the Cyclopes room. Some gold coins would be appropriate as the Cyclopes is known to horde gold. Hi Charles, It was no big deal really. I just recovered the source code from my flash drive which had a current copy of the source, made a few additional changes, and recompiled the game. Besides reinstalling/upgrading all of my development tools was one of the first things I did. Smile. Hi Will, I am planning on adding new levels to the game as early as next week. I think the game engine is fairly complete now, and I can focus on finishing up the game, adding the rest of the levels, etc at this point. As for when the public will get to actually play those levels that will largely depend on if they are on preorder status or not. Thos currently on preorder status will be able to play additional levels as soon as i complete the game's registration system, and e-mail everyone their product keys. However, for security purposes I am holding product keys close until I am nearly done with the game.
