Some things a bit flaky at the moment that might affect your type of work. PDF
export is not wonderful. Tries to embed font information and fails. The usual
work-around, new-from-visible, use that.

can not make the image true grayscale (8 bit) and keep the original layer in
colour. Keep the image as RGB.

The big difference between 2.8 / 2.10 is the flow setting. Value = 0 and the
smudge tool acts like Gimp 2.8
Set the value greater than zero and the smudge tool acts like a painting /
blending brush.

'centered' then you will get a match. Need that for automatic duplex printing
where the printer flips the paper.

Best bet. Depends on OS but run a portable Gimp 2.8 as well as Gimp 2.10,
otherwise find a combination of other filters that produce that grainy effec

to 'Load a Lighting Preset' click on that folder you
made.
(4) Takes you straight to your saved presets, choose one, click on Open.
