Has anyone had issues using the v.clean, v.distance, v.patch, v.clean trick to
snap points to a nearby set of lines?

I justed posted a new addon: i.segment.uspo for unsupervised
segmentation parameter optimization. It runs i.segment (in some
configurations via i.segment.hierarchical) on a given number of test
regions to extract the "best" combination of threshold and minsize for
