Which was how I originally determined what Kirk wrote about where the region
size came from for TSO OMVS (and ISHELL).But it is also documented somewhere
in the manuals. Using my exec was just a lot easier than trying to find where

Why is your secondary allocation only 5 CYL? If you expect it to grow
to more than one volume on initial format, why not something like
2000,2000 ? Multiple extents don't hurt and DFSMS has been
combining multiple (new) adjacent extents into a single extent

ast the original PTF should have been marked PE and a new PTF with
a DEP or perhaps a DEP and ACTION hold should have been generated
due to the potential impact. This probably doesn't qualify for Red Alert
since an entire system isn't impacted.

SYSMOD. As a result, the BACKUP entries and the target zone
entries are at the same level, and SMP/E has no record of the
target zone entries before the SYSMOD was installed.

they don't always quiesce SMP/E controlled roots before they copy them
for use in production.
BTW, DFDSS does the quiesce automatically (for logical copy), but FDR doesn't
nor does the HFS=QUIESCE parm work for zFS (see past posts of mine i
