Hey everyone,
Anyone heard anything on when the damn IMAP will be fixed? We *had* most of
the people in our company on IMAP, but when they have to guess if the
message will be available via web messaging or if they can get it via their
client, most are moving over to POP. We may just say screw
I just recently added a new Imail user entering the first name in the First

I think that can happen when you do an Init LDAP through the administrator server.
That's what happens here anyway. Performing the init deletes the existing data in
person.dta and sets the attributes according to the registry

I received an email from Ipswitch on 9/5 saying they were aware of the IMAP
issues and were working on getting them corrected. No indication of when a
fix will be available. It can't be soon enough.

You don't see the problem -- that's the trick. Some messages won't appear
in your mailbox, but you won't get an error either. So you can use IMAP in
blith ignorance, never realizing when you get hit by problems. And, of
course, it doesn't happen with most mail, just a few.

to identify those who don't, either through ignorance or malicious intent.

Nobody, as far as we know. There were apparently major changes in IMail
