I am having a difficult time reading this web page with jaws. This is a
billboard count down page listing the currant top 50 songs. When I try to read
this page my jaws becomes so slow that when I arrow down it doesn't speak. My
son who is sighted can view this page with no
need to go to find them.
I'm running Jaws 7.10, windows XP home.

Lisa,
Before JAWS came out with 7.0 and 8.0, reading web pages or at least some
that were set up in rows and columns was a problem. In versions 7.1 and
after it seems to be easier. I haven't looked at the page yet just letting
you know it could just be the problems in the pre7.1 versions.
Lisa,
I was able to rread it without a problem.
Can't say I understood all of it, however. Ha Ha
But, JAWS navigated it it fineand I am using version 6.0 and xp pro.

Not in native Windows. There are programs that purport to read what's on the
clipboard, but those that I've checked out have been something less than
great. Search on Google for clipboard viewer without the quotes.

I have noticed that the Sapi 5 volume is much louder than Eloquence. Is there
some way that the
Sapi 5 volume can be turned down a little so it will be about the same as
Eloquence? That way I

I have been given some suggestions, but so far, none have resolved this

If you're saying that all you pressed was the Delete key and you got that

Hi Suzy,
When all else fails, try running anti-spuyware software, such as Ad-Aware,
Spybot, or a new one I found called, simply, No Ad-Aware.
The latter is great and quite extensive in it's searching capabilities, but
that's only my opinion.

Actually Victor, just for clerification,it is not processes.
What is commonly found in the system tray, are icons for applications that
