Hello Greg,
Most times, ranges of cells that are hidden are entire rows or columns.
However, individual cells or ranges can be hidden as well. First of all, to
unhide rows simply select the entire row and use the keystroke CTRL+Shift+9.
To unhide a column, select the columns to the left or right
You're right, you enable numpad then hold down the alt key and type 251.

Hi Steve;
Please excuse my last message. I pressed Alt + 0251 to get the U
circumflex. Typing Alt + 251, Jaws reads the letter, V. Would this be
normal, possibly because the checkmark / square root symbol resembles the
letter V? Thanks again, take care.

Hi
When you're in a HTML message in Outlook 2010 with virtual ribbon turned on,
press Alt=h to go to the ribbon. You need to be in the lower ribbon under
the Message tab which contains the items Delete, Respond, Quick Steps, Move,
tags, Editing and Zoom. Then press m for the Move sub-menu, then
After I finish my evaluation period of Office 2010 I will be

I absolutely loath outlook 2010. I should have stuck with outlook express,
and stayed with xp, even though the support for xp is either gone or going
to go. Never mind, that's what you get when you want to upgrade, thinking
you're going to handle it, like I thought I was. Kimmie.

There is a DAISY book called The Virtual Ribbon Feature which you can
find if you look in Training under the Help Menu. It would be worth

I'm kind of feeling the same way. Outlook express on windows xp seemed a lot
more straight-forward and efficient, especially because I'm not required to
use a lot of complex functionality. I'll see how windows live mail goes.

I don't know, I could not find a way to open those messages that need the

the menu options it offers, I don't know of them, but then I have not used
the virtual ribbons since last September.

Now the square root symbol itself is available in the Scientific

Hello Greg:
OK what are the columns you are trying to unhide? You can tell what columns
are hidden by jaws announcing the columns that are not hidden. For example,
if columns C D E are hidden, jaws will read what's in column B and then
