Is anyone using Sohos Antivirus with JAWS? If so, how do yoiu get the home
screen to read? The grahics only appear to be numbered. Window-Eyes won’t read
anything, and NVDA reads some items. Thanks.

I know that pressing the Control key interrupts speech in JAWS 18. Can speech
be interrupted with any other keys?

I won’t write about this any more because I’m as tired of writing about it as
you are of hearing about it. I have the latest version of Window Eyes, the
latest version of NVDA, and the latest version of JAWS on my Windows 7 64-bit
Pro computer. Selecting E-mail recipients by typing in the To
and Avast are now both no
longer accessible, MSE is probably the best alternative for JAWS users.

Is it possible to change the voice volume in JAWS 18? When navigating with the
JAWS cursor, I see the volume setting but can’t tab to it.

Is there a comparable hot key for extended text selection as in other screen
readers. That is, so one can press Read To End or the PGDN and PGDN to rapidly
select larger blocks of text, especially in HTML environments?

Yes, I did, with no luck.
However, I've now solved my problem.
See my recent post to the list for details.
Hopefully, the strategy that worked for me will work for others as well.

I am a new JAWS user. Using Window-Eyes, when I start typing in the “to” field,
the field is populated with a list of ossible contacts from which to choose. In
JAWS 18, this doesn’t work. I must use the Select Contacts button to do this.
Is this expected behavior for JAWS, or is something
