Flor, how do I get to this dialogue in JAWS 11? I do not see any options
if I use jaws-key-F7 for this. I believe that Wayne was using JAWS 11,

Mike and Flor,
OK, let's go back over this. I am using JAWS 11 with XP and IE 8. I was
the person who first mentioned configuration manager, html options, links.

link when you arrow over a link on a web page. There
Well partner, until you are able to upgrade to jaws v12 you can not get the
results you seek concerning not saying links on a webpage.

Wow did this thread take a strange turn. I was trying to help out Wayne,

that. Then folks said that it could be done, so I wanted to know how,

I had considered the dictionary manager method as well, but the word link
might be not the best word to never hear. Meaning it could show up in
text where you might need to hear it. That's always the danger with the
dictionary manager.

Probably a better solution is to invoke the SayAll scheme

So, in JAWS 11, if you go into the configuration manager, under settings /
html options, under the links tab, there is a setting called Say Link
Type, and it is a check box. What is this supposed to do?
I unchecked it, and expected that JAWS would not say visited link, at the
