Hello,
I’m using the beta of JAWS v18 under Windows 10 64 bit Home Edition.
I like to first say how much I’m enjoying using the new Echo Mouse feature of
JAWS v18. Amazing how many buttons and actionable icons JAWS v17 and earlier
wasn’t reading at all do to window restrictions.

This happens to me too.
I just press the spacebar on ok.

Hi
Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, the results were the same when I
attempted to make Internet Explorer the default browser using the control
panel as when I had used the Default Programs app. I also tried changing
the
My apologies. Of course the forms mode options are in the insert-6 settings
center. But now that I've gone through the process, one more thought. Did you
press the spacebar on the apply button? You don't mention doing so in your
message.

I am using W10, outlook 2010 and latest jaws and I would like to know if it
is possible to run two computers using one keyboard. I am using two
computers and two keyboards from my desk now and it would be much easier if
I could run both computers using one keyboard.
Thanks much,

Hi Fred,
I have a KVM switch which allows me to use one mouse, one key board, one
monitor, and one set of speakers and have them connected to two computers.
All I have to do is push one button to switch from one computer to the other
one. I have had it for many years and it workds very well. I
The device you want is called a KVM switch.
KVM stands for keyboard, video and mouse switch, and it will allow you to
control two computers using one of each of those devices.
Hope this helps.

Hi, when do I press the alt control D, or is it shift control D?
Hi Judy, depends on the application you are on when you press insert 6, the
settings open for that application, and your changes only affect that
specific application; i.e if you are on the desktop, it will only applies
to the window OS settings. To make it a default change, press Alt control D
Thank you both, I did the shift control D after opening the settings center
and it worked! As you both said I didn't realize it would just stop it for
that one application I was on. Thanks so much. It was driving me crazy.

It is doable if the keyboards are hard wired. For years I controlled two
computers with the same keyboard mouse and monitor. There was a switch that
the cables went to each computer and the keyboard etc was also connected.
There was an a/b switch to select what computer you wanted to access.
Hi, I sent this two days ago and have gotten no response and I am really
baffled by this one. Like I said I have to turn off the form fields and
going to the usual setting of insert 6, then arrowing down and checking
manual turning off the auto and entering on okay like I did before isn't
working.
Hi, Judy. Two things occur to me.
First, in which application do you want forms fields turned off? IE? Firefox/
All? Assuming you want the setting for all, make sure you press control-shift-d
after opening the settings center.
Second, using JAWS 17, I don't find the option in the settings
