Hi Jim, If I'm not mistaken, you can create a virtual soundcard with Total Recorder to get the arrangement you want, but I never had any luck with it. In the end, I just did as David has suggested, and used a second soundcard, using one for Jaws, and the other for recording. HTH, Rick Justice

It would be interesting to know if drawing a box around the text still allows JAWS to read the text. Last time I tried it, JAWS was unable to read text that was inside text boxes and anything to do with word art or shapes. Chris, I am curious about why you need to draw a circle around text.
