The type of nut that should be used would be a self locking nut and the
process of welding it would destroy the properties of the locking feature.
There are various types of clip nuts that could be used that would stay in
place and allow you to remove the bolts.

I used grade 8 bolts from an industrial supplier. Here in the Detroit area
there are lots of suppliers that sell bolts. Of course you cant tell them
it's for an aircraft. Just get the best quality grade 8 that they have.

The washers are part of the engine mount. They work the same as the washers
and rubbers in auto shock absorbers. Without the washers the engine will be

heater. Most cold weather areas change the oil in the engine in the winter

this is an update on the turbo and a test message. The turbo was reinstalled a
couple of weeks ago. I need to test run the aircraft, but here in Michigan it
is too darn cold or the ground is too slippery.
