As an education person. I totally agree.
Teaching methods, technology are way ahead of my school days.
Problem is the need to show success with bollox like A*s.
It should always be based on %. Top 10 get A next 10 B etc If you are in a

I simply don't understand how you can be a Leeds United supporter, and yet
Stuff that was moved out of gcse was less relevant stuff hence if you want
to do A level you might need it but otherwise not.

V straightforward. Just look at the patterns of the first, third, fifth, and
then the second, fourth, sixth numbers.
Took me 2 seconds to see it. But then I am an analyst (and I went to grammar
school).

Well uni intake has gone from about 15% to 48% so obviously it's easier to
get in. I'd guess the
48% socialist dream to make uni attainable. Good motives but like Arsenal
you can expand but if the product is getting worse people wont pay or come
and you end up filling it with freebies.
I'm in vocational education anyway so I would like to see uni places capped
at 25% and the rest put into
All about perception! I know the team that runs this ranking QS. 3% of govt
funded kazakhs who come to UK come to Leeds.
Leeds united is quite well known here

Brendan,
Not really sure where the Old Firm would fit into the English structure. They
would want to go straight into the Prem for the money but which clubs would
move to let them? Also politically a disaster for the SFA in UEFA terms.
Would anyone here want them at the expense of Leeds ?
Dave, there's something really not right about your post below

I can't see anything wrong with it - We ARE champions and Yorkshire ARE
relegated.
As for the how can you support Leeds United and Lancashire - to me it is only
the same as our overseas fans who support LUFC and their own country and not
England.
I assume all you Yorks fans still 'hate'
County cricket has been a total disaster for 12 months.
A year ago, it was wancashire losing pathetically in their last match which
cost Yorkshire the Title. Now 12 months later, Warwickshire destroyed
Yorkshire, and then, when we bizarrely played them again the next week,
stupidly failed to
Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I just noticed that Alex Sabella

By my reckoning, that makes 3 countries (NI Wales being the others) who have
ex-Whites at the helm. That may be a record, although it probably won't be for

What a debut innings from the lad from Yorkshire - Johnny Bairstow 41 off 21
balls when the pressure was really on and it looked like we may lose, as good a
debut as you will ever see in the circumstances.
