Hi you are probably more advanced than I am but just in case... sometimes the
screen resolution combined with the zoom size will cause items to not appear on
the display and I have experienced the scroll bars not appearing. So I lower
the zoom.
Captcha's shouldn't be affected by pop-up bloc
The download pages added a Captcha several months ago.
Maybe your freeze was because you did not see and click on the Captcha
and were also blocking the error page from loading. The original posting
in this thread mentioned an error page the user got saying the download
failed because his subm
Has Legacy introduced a Captcha into the download process? I've never seen
one.
I tried to update the other day but the process froze in the middle.

What version of Legacy is your laptop running?
If it isn't Legacy 8 version 427 and you can't update from the Home Tab,
then you haven't entered your customer number to make it the deluxe
version - see the Help ribbon.

I understand you are using Legacy 8 and have installed it on both computers
from a disc. It sounds as if you have updated the program on the desktop but
you haven't updated it on the laptop.
Therefore when you try to open
