The system never gets to runlevel 3. In fact I believe it fails to get to
runlevel 2. You will notice I have root prompt, Never got a login prompt

Can anyone help me out with this? I have installed SLES 8 previously using
2 MOD3, but I don't see how installing to 5 MOD3 would differ from 2.

To have Linux Sync with the TOD of VM is there a setting in the Linux
environment or is this done automagically or do we use NTP and given VM as
a server?
