Hi guys,
There is a problem I've had to deal with for a long time, and I hoped in
1.0 for it to be fixed.
And that is using VSTs on windows.
I have a win7 64bit, 4GB ram, 3.00Ghz, lmms 1.0.2 and this occurs with
most VSTs, like SuperWave P8, Synth1 and also softer ones.
If I use LMMS for some

I'll try my best. I can even give you a dxdiag if you want it.

I don't know what it does, that's why xD
Anyway, 256 sounds fine, and after having changed all those settings you
said it seems that it's all working fine.
I opened 5 VSTs and 1 Zyn, keeping their UIs opened, and nothing was wrong.
Then I opened Synth1, which didn't load. LMMS didn't crash, but
I use VSTs all the time with default settings and they rarely crash.
There are affinity issues using VSTs on Windows, which I workaround with
some hackish scripts, but in my experience those issues affect performance,
not stability.
I use the free (as in beer) plugins DPC/ GTG, DSK which tend to

Try turning it on and see what happens. If LMMS starts crashing again,
it might be the VST+autosave combination that's causing it.
And then some technical speculation:
As of now LMMS won't autosave wh
I vote yes.

So, each automatable model has a "step size" property, which is used for
determining the accuracy of the knobs. A step size of 0.1 causes the
knob values to move in 0.1 increments, a step size of 1 causes the knob
to only move between integer values, and so on.
This is of course good for user conv
Autosave just doesn't work to me, no matter what i do!

I think you are right in that I should use LMMS users for wiki mails. Going
to do that from now on, so people who wan to know what is happening on the
wiki must subscribe to the user list.
Here are the Opulenz page:

I think we should see if the portable apps community would be interested in

I have decided not to make special pages for 1.0 instruments. So 0.4
instruments on the wiki will change, however most (all?) of the instruments
have just added functionality, so the guide still applies for 0.4. This also
means links will be broken and wrong in the 0.4 manual, but as the pages
