Hi,
none of my archivers is able to open LyXTips.tgz from Herbert Voss
homepage. Neither Power Archiver, nor Karchiveur, nor Ark, nor gunzip, or
unzip will do. None of them are able to process *.tgz files. Renaming the
file to LyXTips.tar.gz does not change a thing.
So could you please explain

I would like module to have a toc and an index. If I do them as 2
separate
books, then the second book starts at chp 1 not 6. {This should be easily
done with a counter reset but I am not sure how

Hi all,
running SuSE Linux 7.2, LyX 1.1.6fix1.
After some editing actions, copy and paste in particular, text turns
underlined in deep blue. It does not go away.
Is this a known bug? What can I do to get rid of it again?

thanks for explaining how to make the blue word-by-word underlining
disappear again. It has worked. Indeed LyX marked the copy-and-pasted
text as English although it was pasted from one German-language doc to
another. Well, all works well again, and whats more, Ive learned
