First a question to Herbert:
on you LaTeX-Tipps page you say that I could use
\usepackage{mathptmx}

I tried this, but I am not able to compile the Userguide with this.
LaTeX- says that some .tfm are missing.
Do you know why this occurs or what package I should install?
And
lgrind (see on CTAN) pretty-formats most codes, including Perl:
#lgrind -s

C++ (CC) PERL (pl)
...
Needs external processing of the pieces of code, and inclusion
in LyX through ERT \lgrindfile{foo.tex}
Package options allow to tune the layout.

it is easy, when you do not insert the urls with LyX, then
Lyx does not write \uesepacjega{url} into the preamble and
you can use any option.
Thankyou very much Herbert! This does indeed fix my problem. Now I can
use [obeyspaces].

hi,
i have a cover page, table of contents, list of figures, and list of
tables at the beginning of my document, before starting the first chapter.
(the document is in 'report' style). How do i change the numbering on
these first few pages to roman numerals, so they are different to the
rest

lgrind
First a question to Herbert:
on you LaTeX-Tipps page you say that I could use
\usepackage{mathptmx}
for better pdf-layout.
I tried this, but I am not able to compile the Userguide with this.
LaTeX- says that some .tfm are missing.
Do you know why this occurs or what package I should install?
And
lgrind (see on CTAN) pretty-formats most codes, including Perl:
#lgrind -s
...
C++ (CC) PERL (pl)
...
Needs external processing of the pieces of code, and inclusion
in LyX through ERT \lgrindfile{foo.tex}
Package options allow to tune the layout.
lgrind -l pl foo.pl

You mean anywhere in the preamble?
I have a vague memory that I had some clashes between cite and some other
packages...

Hi
Jean-Marc Lasgouttes írta:
I just put in ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.3.4 a rpm for redhat linux 9.
To summarize, the following linux flavours now have a rpm: slackware
9.1, fedora core 1, mandrake 9.2 and redhat 9.
There is an rpm in ftp.lyx.org/incoming for SuSE9.0 with srpm.
Regards,
