One thing you might try is to delete the local LyX directory for the limited
rights user, then restart LyX (as the limited rights user) and let it try to
rebuild that directory. I think the directory is usually stored at
C:\Documents and Settings\limited
Zip files are forbidden on the list, so I'll try gzip.

language for parts of your document? Just select, right-click,
Language. With English parts in a German document, this works fine,

template in the current version works fine for me. As I understand it,
"Nuclear Physics B" is just a placeholder. Just change the class options
according to the style of Geoderma and adapt the name in the preamble.

I am not familiar with cjk. But are you aware that you can change the
language for parts of your document? Just select, right-click,
"Language". With English parts in a German document, this works fine,
including hyphenation. I have not tested other scenarios.
