Hi Bill, I have never had cable. Always had an antenna on the roof of my house. It is connected to an amplifier (which I purchased from radio shack years ago) and from there it goes out to 3 TVs. Each TV has a TiVo box with lifetime service. Two of the TiVos are Roamios (about 3 years old)
