Preview works with the relatively weak Adobe PDF encryption scheme built into
the authoring tool. Some features, like copy and paste, are turned off to keep
users from using the most obvious way to get the data out of the file. I
haven't tried any of these documents in Preview with VO so I
I find it absolutely shady that Adobe still insists that people download and
use their stuff. To bad Windows doesn't run things in a sandbox, like the mac
does. That way, users would be aware, oh my gosh, adobe is trying to install
something else on my pc, let me just click this button that
Linux has the same issue if users choose to use the Acrobat Reader and I think
at the moment, Adobe's product is the only accessible PDF reader. Although i
think efforts are being made to make more of the open source PDF readers
accessible.

themes by your own? If I assume you cannot, I wonder if the Growl team can do
something? It'd definitely be worth a try, probably.
However, if you use Adium as well, my temporary method is to use an Adium
plugin

know that you could open attachments in this way. However, have you considered
creating a shortcut for the saving attachments option in the File menu? You

Nope, there is no audible manager for the Mac. Its Itunes. I mean, it uses
Itunes in lieu of the audible manager software. That's why I thought it should
be simple to get books to go there automatically as it is with the manager
software in Windows.
