Oh, I change other formats to .aiff. Ya know, if I have wavs or mp3s. I created a sounds folder under the hd/library folder. You can put it inside the sounds folder inside the home library folder if you'd like. I chose the hd/library because then the sounds are available to all users.

Safari is the primary browser for OSX but some people have found that the nightly build of Webkit (the engine of Safari)vhas less issues. Of course nightly build means each day some stuff is fixed but other stuff might be broken. You might also try Chrome which is supposed to be accessible

Setting hotspots on iTunes playlists

I can set hotspots on specific playlists in the sources sidebar, but nothing happens when I attempt to move to one of them. I get the same result if I use the keystroke (VO + 0), or pick the hotspot from the list of hotspots. Any thoughts on how to make this work? Thanks and regards, Jeff

Hi, Paul, If you want VLC or any other program to open an mp3, simply go to open with and choose other. In that dialog, you can choose the application and check the box to have it do this from now on. I don't believe there's a way to play files in ITunes without adding them to the library.
