Hi E T. You don't need to enter your debit card pin when you do Apple Pay. Did you set up your card details in Apple Pay to start with which you can find in your Wallet as you need to add your CSV number and your long card number if I remember rightly to get this going. Once you enter those details, then the server will varify your card and you will get a text from your Bank thanking you for setting up Apple Pay and so on. Do check your wallet first before you use Apple Pay again on your I phone 8. Kawal. > On 5 Mar 2018, at 21:08, E.T. <ancient.ali...@icloud.com> wrote: > > This worked for me today. Re: Apple Pay and Touch ID
Alex, Thanks. Remember, this is all new to me. I only just got Touch ID and Apple Pay set up in the last couple days. Plus the passcode which until now I never used. I will try this again on Monday. I never knew I had to double press the home button first. I just hold my phone near the reader with my finger on the home button, and it goes through, except for one time, I don't know what was wrong then. I will try double pressing the home button first next time, to see if it works even better.
