alone here, but I agree entirely with you. You may have been a lttle hard
on David, but otherwise you are right. I believe that if the polygons are
not where you think they belong, you must find out what went wrong

You're making the assumption that the person who originally assigned the
positional data to the map objects is always correct. I can think of plenty
of examples of data being delivered to me with positions that were
horrendously and obviously wrong, and this was data provided by surveyors
