update my table, but I can upload things to the

Is there an easier (automatic) way to build a
polyline from point data besides mapping the all the points then using the
polyline drawing tool in the cosmetic layer, snapping to each point then saving
the cosmetic layer (the polyline you just created)I have used the

Elliot: I don't have a definitive answer for you. In your MBX, closing a TXT file
immediately after the TAB is created may help; saving altered files after some
pre-determined number of operations or length of time, may also help.
I don't believe the problem is limited disk space or a
Hi
has anyone managed to integrate an ActiveX component built in Visual Basic 6
with MapInfo Professional using MapBasic and a wrapper VB exe?
I would like to call a VB exe that references a custom VB component and
passes back to MapInfo information or an event.

Here's a sum, but I did not actually include any text from the e-mails

From the responses I recieved, ArcView 3.2, MapInfo 5.5 and AutoCAD Map 2000
will work beautifully with Win2K. ESRI will guarantee that ArcView 3.2 is
supported. Win 2K has been built on the NT 4.0 platform, which

To anyone who might know
Does anyone know where I can find information that documents the
ParamList properties for socket communication with the MapXtreme Server?

Hi Andre,

When YOUR.TAB at desired coordinate system is open, please open
first go to layer options ans set the projection setting to get metres instead
of degrees and run your query again and you will get the info in meters. if
the projecton you are using is already in metrs, then first set it to lat/long
and set it back to metres and then it will work.

From time to time on this list I see questions about extracting images
from dlls etc. and different ways to do this. I had a situation arise
today in which I was completely unsatisfied with the 16x15 pixel
limitation in a visual basic ocx and no way to change it.
I downloaded eXeScope from
Hi All,
Has anyone got an app/solution that goes through a table and finds identical objects
(lines, polylines, polygons) and then removes one of the objects?
