I would like to see an undo button that allows you to go back several (10 to
15) operations for undo, instead of our one undo given in the edit menu /

Alt PPMY will set your toggle on (you only need to press Alt with the first
P)
Alt PPMN will set your toggle off
I know that there is also an old posting to toggle this setting from the
MapBasic Window, But I cant find it now.

I would use this tool constantly during edits of parcel regions. Would one
of you MabBasic mavens whip this off and put on Mapinfo Clearing House?

toggle the "Move Duplicate Nodes" between "None of the Layers" and "The Same

Hit OK and the next screen asks for the zip to find, if it's a zip in the
table it will mark it with the selected symbol, if its not in the list you
will be given close matches to choose from.

Update Query3 Set Estimated_Acres = Area_obj___acre__

At the last Imagine Conference in Michigan, I saw a product demonstrated by
ERDAS that did this. It is a package to convert aerial photos to Digital
Orthos and this is one of the Modules. http://www.erdas.com/

In Mapinfo
Go to Table menu Export
Export Table as .txt (Save as Type pull down) to convenient folder / path
Be sure to check the "Use First Line For Column Titles" and "Tab Delimited"
(Next dialogue box after above)
In Excel
Open the .txt file just created and Save as Excel work book
While I agree with the responses to your question (that an SQL is the
preferred method), it didn't answer your question, and may actually take
longer than the boundary select tool. The only thing I found different
than what you wrote, is that BOTH layers must be selectable (from MI help

sometimes have to go back to the map window and zoom in or out to
