Gee...
For some reason this reminded me of a story.. as an electrical contractor.
Couple bought a house. After moving in the wife discovered the freezer in
the basement had quit working and the contents had spoiled. (Not a large
loss.) She tells the husband who discovers that none of the electric

One of my first "young" experiences was with the local Sears. It seemed a
reasonable place to get a new "DieHard" battery or radial tires. I'd heard
stories, however. Just out of curiousity I put a piece of scotch tape on the
hood so I could tell if it had been opened.
Many years ago a roomate had a similar predicament.
The outcome? He became angry. Communication broke down. He began making
nuisance telephone calls to interrupt their business. The transmission shop
had the calls traced to the office where David worked and sent the police...

the office in the summer. There was an old eccentric woman who would prowl
in the garbage cans at the curb on trash days. I'd follow her around town
and observe as she collected her "finds" in her old grocery cart.

This is true! The biodiesel "kids" are paying $3,500-$4,500 for early 80's
W123s around here just if they run. I could sell two of the cars I bought on

Actually, I'm thinking they used one of those jacketed urns for coffee. It
keep the coffee hotter which IMHO keep you from tasting how vile it is. I
used to think McDons just "added to" the mix and never actually brewed a
fresh pot. Watered down, it's flavorless but actually is the right color.

Something quite true about that. I remember brochures from 30-40 years ago
explaining how MB seats were designed to support good posture and allow the
driver control of the vehicle. Meanwhile, some of us are riding around
slouching in with our 6 way power seats which recline like Lazyboys.

I discovered the local providers for AAA emergency roadside service DO NOT
LIKE DIESELS! Flatly was told on the phone, "We can provide gasoline but do
not deliver diesel." They're also hesitant to answer a call in jumping a
diesel.

You know... I used to be so frustrated (as an anal retentive compulsive
obsessive person) until I adjusted my thinking to realise that "stupid
people do exist."
Being a Southern boy and embracing the phrases, "Bless your heart... Lord
