I’m in the middle of drilling 18 3/4 holes for concrete anchors for this alignment rack. So far I got 3 done and the plastic hammer for the HF Bauer hammer drill broke. I used it for 10 holes from the 2 post and now this one. I guess I’ll push thru without the handle and see how it goes.

I put the cleaned out DPF back on the car and reset it in SDS. I then hosed down the engine with degreaser and power washed the crap out of it. Took the car for a spin and what a massive difference in power. It just seemed before the have as much power as the GL. Now it’s night and day

Yes I don’t really get this m112s that use a lot of oil. Our 05 seems to use a lot of oil. I think I have 15w40 in it now and perhaps it slowed it down but it still using oil. I’m wondering if these things need to have valve seals replaced. Seems like I looked into that once and concluded it

I pretty much run everything on 15w40 now days. On the breather covers there are tiny holes in then that you have to clean out that IIRC can cause increased oil consumption. Also, if the seal that goes from the air intake to the valve body gets hard and somehow supposedly caused increased oil

Todays project was to replace several sections of shingles that were blown off in the last couple of months high wind events. It’s a job that is not rocket science but I hate dealing with. Been trying to get somebody to give me a quite to fix it and/or the entire roof for a couple of months,

[MBZ] The 09 Bluetec is drinking oil

On the 700 mile trip home with it, it didn’t use any oil. Of course the batwing was cracked and probably not really sealing to the turbo. New batwing, full service including all fluids and filters, new tires, new motor mounts. I have taken it to St Louis once and on the way back the oil message
