The heat I used was a 1/2 inch air wrench with 120 psi air supply. It spun them right out. On install, I cleaned the threads with a wire brush and used a dot of red loctite, torqued to spec [don't ask what the spec is, I don't remember, but I remember looking it up, at the time.] As someone suggest
