For the last two weeks my right front headlight has had a poltergeist. Sometimes when I turn on the headlights, the little warning light comes on telling me that a light is out. When I look at the headlight it is noticeably dimmer than the other. HOWEVER, just as often, the headlights are fine

Hopefully it's just the socket for the bulb -- take the bulb out and take a look. They tend to corrode, and a bad connection will cause low current flow (and a melted socket from the extra resistance, alas). The bulb can also be going bad, and this will cause the problem as well. Clean and g
