My understanding is that floor heaters result in _lower_ heating bills, because if the floor is warm the rest of the house can be cooler yet the occupants are equally comfortable. High ceilings in a bathroom would mean much less steamy mirrors after a shower, less necessity of venting the house

Well it is about 20ft up above the kitchen space so it doesn't stir up much cruft but just sorta gently stirs the air a bit to get warm air down from the peak in the winter, which makes a big difference.  I usually have it on idle thrust not takeoff thrust so it doesn't stir much else up.
