Has anyone else noticed that a lot of the updates released this month such as
1607 cumulative updates and Flash Player updates are not required for many
systems? For example, KB4034658 is not required for 347 systems and only 6
required. The patch FLASH patch 4034662 is only required for
Hey Nick. Thanks for the tip. My issue is not from the Windows 7 to Windows 10
upgrade. We do in fact disable Bitlocker in that task sequence so that's a good
recommendation. This issue I was reporting was when deploying the "Feature

CMG has nothing to do with placing your site server in Azure so … not sure why
they are going doing that path.

My CMG’s are not domain joined and are working as expected.
Do you have a link to the documentation that you are following/referencing?

Good idea. I've never done a Dell BIOS update using CM. Will have to look into
that.

That documentation in no way says anything about your site server in Azure and
in no way discusses the CMG as being domain joined either. Whomever is drawing
this conclusion is incorrect and needs to read the documentation. In fact, the

Run a manual update on a device to check. I'm pretty sure that was the fix.

So what about the server that the MP and DP reside on? How will devices get
applications and policies that are on the internet?

Two separate things. 😊
You can put SCCM site roles in Azure IaaS (infrastructure as a service) where
you create and manage the VM, just think of using Azure like another datacenter
for your company. That’s the link you shared below.
CMG and CDP use Azure PaaS (platform as a service) – SCCM create
As Jason and Aaron have pointed out, the CMG service in Azure is not a domain
