disk speed. If it was a back-end then I'd be a bit more concerned, but

Most documents don't mention it, but Pundit-R supports 1 SATA device as
well. The two IDE ports are on the same channel as master and slave(hda
and hdb) and the SATA port is on hdc.

They didn't in the one that I purchased (and returned). To fabricate
one you'd need to able to cut the holes in the right places for the
connectors. May be more than you're willing to do.
I'd prefer not to make one but there are many standard ones I might be
able to buy if I had to.

in a Pundit-R chassis and what that might mean for heat/reliability.

I am a Pundit-non-R user (SiS graphics chip) but I have been asking about
the same issue on both lists over and over again.
The reason for the flickering to occur is, that the fields are sent to the
tv-out in a frequency that is most likely to differ from the tv's
frequency (50 Hz) and start

TV. Using the bob deinterlacer live TV initially looks great (not
significantly worse than using the output on my PVR 350), however the
picture seems to get jittery and flickery with time, to the point that

you don't need to use any deinterlacing for TV-out, which should
