Hi,
I was wondering whether we have tests similar to or in context's xml processing. (And even in context more general...) I have
found these doifelse tests, but elseif doesn't seem to exist. Is that correct?
If yes, could that be added? Of course, you can always just nest

Thanks for all the answers. That's helpful. But I think that does not work with
the xml tests, or does it? I mean, is this a general mechanism?

Hi,
is there a way to get some text between the head and the text of a description.
Enumerations have stoppers, but I couldn't find an equivalent setting for
descriptions:
The output should look roughly like this:
ABC: asdfasdfasdf jklöjklööjklö
CDE: asdfasdfasdf jklöjklöjklöö

Hi
Footnotes originating from an RTL paragraph will be also typeset in RTL mode as
the following example illustrates:
%%
\setupdelimitedtext[blockquote]
[leftmargin=1.5em,rightmargin=0em,]
\definedelimitedtext[rtlblockquote]
\setupdelimitedtext[rtlblockquote]
Ok, this works:
\setupnote[footnote][align=l2r]
Does that have any drawbacks?
Is it possible to change the text direction for single notes ?

Hi,
I just came across this: https://github.com/zepinglee/citeproc-lua
Thats's an lua implemenation of the CSL language targeting LaTeX.
I don't know if the processor itself contains any LaTeX specific code, but it
looks like the integration basically happens here :

Yes, Aditya. Citeproc-lua uses csl styles. Test suite coverage is not complete
yet, though.

Maybe define your own chapter command and use a vbox.
Look at this example from the wiki:
\setuppapersize[A6][A6]
\setupbodyfont[8pt]
\def\MyChapterCommand#1#2%
{\vbox to 4cm\bgroup
{#1\hskip.75em #2}
\vss
\egroup}
\setuphead[chapter][header=nomarking, command=\MyChapterCommand]
\
Or change the setup of unnumbered chapter titles...
Add a forced blank before there.

This example from the wiki does not run anymore with LMTX:
You get the error message:

Or better yet,
Happens here as well, already on ConTeXt ver: 2022.03.12 17:56 LMTX.
By the way, this even happens without special fonts:
\blockligatures[Th]
\definefontfeature[default:blocklig][default][liga=yes,blockligatures=yes]
\setupbodyfont[myfont]
\starttext
\definedfont[Serif*default:blockli

Don't know how if there's an automatic way, perhaps look into ctx processing
instructions.
Anyway you can use
--result=name
As you have to set quite a few options on the command line (modes, language)
you'll perhaps want to use a makefile anyway.

Hi everyone,
the wikipage on \starttyping
(https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Command/_starttyping) says there are some
dedicated commands, e.g. \startXML and \startPARSEDXML. How do they differ?
Best,
Denis
