We have done quite some extensive in-house development. As I hear so have many
others. Kind of sad to have all these sprinkled in-house tools.
I wouldn’t be so keen on having to buy tools to fill the void.

on DeepData only z-based cropping?

?You should go for MultiMatte REs if by any chance you can. This gives you 3
IDs per layer (rgb) and you can directly use
them as pixel perfect mattes.

Yeah. For the record: You can actually generate reversing LUTs on the ARRI LUT
Generator (i guess they base the LUTs of Gamma Curves rather than test-patterns.
So yay. I am all set including PROPER linearizing the Footage heh.
