I'm sorry if I missed the answer to this question, but why don't you just re-compile rexxsql? I have a 64bit version working on my machine (Mac OSX). In the long run aren't you going to want to upgrade to 64bit anyway? Bruce Sent from an undisclosed location. On Nov 25, 2011, at 7:10 AM, rvj

Bill, as I am somewhat allergic to installers I always build my own Rexxen and I find that getting this process to work pays off at a favorable rate; if you define the box as 'developer machine' at install chances are that you need nothing extra; then it is ./bootstrap ; ./configure ; sudo mak

Mark, Ok, I think I now have the 32 bit version installed. How can I tell and be sure? There is nothing in the "version" output that identifies 32-bit vs 64-bit that I can see. (By the way, the 64-bit version installs very quickly and without any hassle - If it weren't for the incompatibilit

Hi Bill, On the face of it, I wouldn't think this would be that difficult to do. Install 32-bit ooRexx on 64-bit Ubuntu that is. However, I don't have a 64-bit Ubuntu system handy, so I can't walk through it and see exactly what does need to be done. Maybe this weekend I might try it. See belo

If the 32bit rexxsql isn't dependent on other 32bit code (db drivers?), you can recompile rexxsql to 64bit. Bruce P.S. I don't remember having this much trouble mixing 24bit and 31bit on IBM mainframes. Selective memory? On Nov 17, 2011, at 9:20 AM, Bill Turner, WB4ALM wrote: > Would it be
