the difference between the two tests (it seems) is that our upstream CSIT longevity is bringing 200 switches up and down in a relatively short period. Whereas Saibal's test is keeping 120 up for many hours at a time. agreed that a bug with karaf.log is needed. Thanks for testing Saibal. JamO

[openflowplugin-dev] ubuntu VM for cbench tests?

Luis, In the new sandbox, I noticed that the el6 VM is not working [0] for cbench, but when removed that VM definition [1] it takes our ubuntu VM and seems to be ok [2]. Probably something to consider when our releng cloud migrates to the private cloud. JamO [0]

Miro, both of the jobs you pointed to are using the same VM to run OVS. "ubuntu-trusty-mininet-2c-2g" is there something about the jobs that would make ovs have a different version? As for using ovs 2.5, I recall hearing the plan would be to get all of the openflowplugin csit running 2.5+.

Romanos, our ODL CSIT has a similar environment with ovs 2.5 (not compiled by fuel, though) and we don't see this issue. But, the tests I'm looking at create more than 1 VM. six, actually, but they do delete *all* of them. We collect the vswitchd logs at the end of the jobs and no seg fault

Tomas, both Luis and I have also noticed this in other places, and I think it's only started to bite us in the last week or so. I have a patch [0] that I think will fix it, and might be overkill to fix it in other places, but in theory it can pop up anywhere if our names/jobs/paths are too long
