Hmm. Ok, from some of the other posts I've read on this, it comes down to
changing the type of file that is produced. I would not recommend using
realplayer because obviously the default is to burn it in mp4, which is
certainly ok but no standard cd player can play that...yet. so you might

The number followed by X relates to the burn speed of the CD. This
relates to the amount of times faster than standard play that your CD
will be written. I.E. 40X means that the disk will be written at 40
times faster than it would play.

Thanks for the information, Chris. I think I'll look at CDex. I can't
figure out how to do this with Real 10, and it could be that it can't be
done with the Real 10 basic edition, but would have to have the Professional
Edition, or whatever they call it.

I agree with those who've suggested CDex, it's very speach friendly, and if
you need help setting it up, and if you have messenger, I can give you my

launch cdex, and then press the f4 key for your options. go to the encoder
tab and choose the windows mp3 codec. then tab over to the bitrate

When I attempt to run my Imtu DVD Audio Ripper, something weird is
happening. I'm not seeing the usual dialogs. And, when looking at the
programs running on my system I see something called soundtrack.exe, in the
DVD audio Ripper folder, is running.

If you're focusing mostly on spoken word editing, Studio Recorder from APH
is great. Of course, it can do music too, but some of the best features are
specific to narration. The program was designed to be useful to blind folks,
so you don't have a lot of extraneous decoration to work around.

The tree view is still set up like your windows explorer. So, treat it the
same way even though it doesn't readily announce the drive. If you tab
after selecting it willl then tell you what you have chosen.
