I have been able to trim beginning and end of a batch of files and normalise
in one process.
It is supposed to be able to play the files. Haven't worked out that one
yet.
The program is too bloody expensive - around $80 us when I purchased.

Another thought!
I know someone who has an IRiver, I know that these amazing pieces of equipment
will play Vorbis and... well... just about any other format you care to mention
if you're prepared to load the software.
