My favourite zooms were the SMC-M 24-35/3.5 and the SMC-A 70-210/4.
The shorter zoom was up there close to being my favourite lens, too.
The primes I liked best were the SMC-K 28/2, SMC-M 35/2, the SMC A*
85/1.4 and the SMC-A 400/5.6.

be also careful with attaching such a lens on a LX !
Trying this, I marked the, just replaced, frame of the mirror box !
It seems that the protruding section is too big for the LX ( and the MZ7 ).
All my other bodies ( KX, K2, MX, ME Super, Super Program ) have no problems

look in on the auctions once a week, instead of constantly, and

Sharp, very versatile, compact, not overly heavy, nice feel to it. Great
daylight lens... Built in hood allows almost no flare ever. Easy to zoom and
focus with one touch. It's not a macro, but 150mm at 24" sure looks close
enough to it. (And it cost me $53!?)

I've seen quite a few primes advertised as zooms - undoubtedly the focusing
helicoid confuses these "owners".

I have too many lenses, and too many of them are favourite in their own way.
I love my first Pentax lens, a KM 50/1.7 n. 6131...
I use heavier lenses like the Sears 80-200mm F4 and the A 35-105mm F3.5 on
my ZX-M without any problems at all. Plastic lens mounts seem to hold up
pretty well. I don't know how well they would handle really heavy lenses,
but with a really big lens I wouldn't try to hold up the weight with the

excellent and mint. Glass is perfect. He mailed it BEFORE receiving my

"test" frames I shot a finely detailed embroidered fabric wide open on

have their own characteristics. I`m still in the process of testing them
both, but the A seems to have a little more punch to the colors and
good bokeh, the K seems a little sharper, especially wide open,
and great bokeh.

I performed a global search on '*.acl'. Tis is the correct extension for
the 'auto-correct list' file. However, these files were not in the
C:\windows directory, they were in the C:\~\office directory and it wasn;t
called ?user?.acl. I suggest you perform a global search as above to
determine

the file is mso.acl. I think the difference is due to this being word 2000.
